Precautions for the installation of wafer butterfly valve

1、 Pipe clamp flange standards must be consistent with butterfly valve flange standards; It is recommended to use butt welding flanges, special flanges for butterfly valves or integral flanges; Flat welded flanges (sleeve type) shall not be used. if users use flat welded flanges, they must obtain supplier's approval.

2、 Before installation, check whether the operating conditions are consistent with the performance of the butterfly valve.

3、 Before installation, the inner cavity and sealing surface of the valve should be cleaned first, and dirt and sundry are not allowed to be attached; At the same time, remove welding slag and other sundries in the pipeline.

4、 The butterfly plate must be in the closed position during installation to ensure that the butterfly plate does not collide with pipe flanges, etc.

5、 Both ends of the valve seat protrudes the end face of the valve body as a flange gasket, butterfly valve installation without adding gaskets

6、 The butterfly valve can be installed in any position (vertical, horizontal, tilt), the operating mechanism of the weight of the specification of the support frame.

7、 The butterfly valve in the process of transportation, storage to ensure that the butterfly valve to avoid impact, otherwise it will lead to the decline of butterfly valve sealing performance, butterfly plate should not bump against hard objects, and should be opened at 4° -5 ° opening position, in order to keep the sealing surface during this period not damaged.

8、 Make sure the flange is welded correctly. After the butterfly valve is installed, it is not allowed to weld the flange again to avoid damaging the rubber parts and anti-corrosion coating.

9、 In the process of use, the air source should be kept dry and clean, so as to avoid foreign matter entering the cylinder and affecting normal work.

10、If there is no special description in the order contract, only vertical butterfly valves can be installed indoors.

11、In case of abnormal opening and closing of butterfly valve, the cause should be found out and the fault removed. It is not allowed to open and close the valve by means of knocking, smashing, prying and extending the lever arm.

12、Butterfly valve in storage period is not used during the period, should be kept dry, not open storage, not allowed around the erosion of harmful substances.
